Digital Designer

Job Description

In this role as a Digital Designer, you'll be joining our core design team to make a visual impact on the future of journey management. From designing landing pages to major campaigns to social posts and illustrations – you’ll work at every stage of a project, from initial concepts to production. You analyze our brand positioning and feed consumer insights back into our visual communications. The team is still forming and we have a shared mission to bring the emotional connection people have with their customer journeys to life. As we believe our website is the start of the product experience, your job is essential for our collective success.

TheyDo is a fully remote SaaS B2B organisation, pioneering a brand new category in software: Customer Journey Management. In December we announced our ‘Series A’ funding round, at €12m. Our angel investors include executives from Intercom, Miro, and Calendly. We serve enterprise customers such as IBM, Cisco and Atlassian. We’re a small but mighty team, and in 2023 we will triple our headcount.

What you’ll do

  • Craft every detail of branded projects, from insight to implementation
  • Help lead and creatively direct external agencies and freelancers
  • Help shape and build out our brand system and design guidelines
  • Develop visuals for events, social posts, newsletters, landing pages, whitepapers, eBooks and even TheyDo GIPHIES or MEMES
  • Develop key visuals that show how TheyDo enables cross-team collaboration with the aim of giving our digital platform a human feel
  • Work with our product designers to help create the right sorts of alignment between the marketing site and the platform
  • Collaborate with teams to refine Design, craft mockups and polish prototypes to excite community members, users, prospects, and of course, our existing customers

What we're looking for

  • A journey attitude. You understand what content fits what phase of the journey and are not afraid to ask senior members of the team how to personalize content on a step level to really make it stick
  • A customer-centric vision. You have an intrinsic motivation to make the world a more customer-centric place, because that will benefit everybody
  • A sense of style. You understand what it takes to make a SaaS B2B organization look and feel intuitive and cool(er)
  • A learning & growing mindset: our team size and the process will evolve many times over the next few years. We strive to improve and integrate what we learn continuously
  • A self-managed individual that thrives in a scale-up phase where things move fast and sometimes break, and loves to improve things as we grow
  • An ability to see big ideas all the way through to the daily execution
  • Strong soft skills, online and in-person
  • Social media savviness
  • Great knowledge of Figma & Adobe CC obviously
  • At least 5 years experience working as a designer

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation and 'Series A' pre-IPO equity - we like to give our employees ownership with our stock package. When TheyDo succeeds, we all succeed
  • Fully remote working with flexible hours - we're staunch advocates for autonomy and flexibility. Work from anywhere in Europe, + or - 2 hours CET
  • Company events - we regularly connect in-person to strategize, reflect or simply have fun. Our most recents offsites were held in Belgium and the Netherlands
  • Flexible holiday days - we love what we do, and equally love taking a break. We expect you to take a minimum of 25 days per year (in addition to public holidays)
  • Professional development reimbursement - we value learning and are happy to support you with books/conferences/courses that will benefit you in your role

  • Home office or co-working support - we offer everyone the choice of home office reimbursement (one-off, up to €1,000) or co-working support (up to €300 p/m)
  • Latest Tech & Tools - Macbook Air, Pro or laptop, we want you to have the equipment that you’re most comfortable with. We use tools such as Gather, Slack, Notion, Loom, and G:Suite to work collaboratively and asynchronously
  • Continuous growth of our benefits package as we continue to grow in size
