We are seeking a Director of HR to overseeing and directing all aspects of human resources operations. The ideal candidate will  collaborate with Leadership Team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and foster a positive work culture across multiple countries.

As a Director of HR, you will work with and report directly to the Founders (CEO & COO), relaying messages and ideas from other senior executive leaders to improve the internal functions and processes of the company. You must be a creative and results-driven thinker and an excellent problem solver; possess incredible interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff; and act as the central contact for all business communications.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the company's global growth and expansion plans.
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Identify emerging HR trends and recommend proactive strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent in the tech/software industry.
  • Establish and monitor HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Oversee global recruitment and hiring processes to ensure the organization attracts and selects high-caliber talent.
  • Implement innovative recruitment strategies to identify candidates with specialized tech/software skills.
  • Develop and manage international onboarding programs to facilitate a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to create job descriptions, define performance expectations, and establish career development plans.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and compliance with local labor laws across multiple countries.
  • Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution processes.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives, including performance management, employee recognition, and career development programs.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Develop and implement global compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent.
  • Ensure competitive and equitable salary structures and benefits packages across all locations.
  • Monitor industry trends and conduct regular benchmarking to maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Stay updated on international labor laws and regulations to ensure the company's HR practices and policies are compliant across all locations.
  • Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Manage Payroll processes and relationship with payroll suppliers
  • Manage global HR compliance audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Mitigate HR-related risks by promoting a culture of ethical conduct and ensuring data privacy and protection.

MUST HAVE

  • 3-4 year experience as an HR leader.
  • English is the default language and french would be a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
  • A passion for employee well being, diversity and performance
