To help us on this mission, we’re looking for an exceptional Marketing & Business Analytics Manager to join the Business Performance and Data Science team.

As the Marketing & Business Analytics Manager works to improve insight, prioritisation and strategic planning across Lingokids as a whole and marketing in particular, providing actionable recommendations to help the businesses to meet financial objectives.

You will lead a team of analysts and data scientists that manage the performance review process, marketing spend efficiency, and support FP&A team to optimise business forecasting. You’ll work closely with the leadership and marketing teams to drive business strategy & objectives

Responsibilities

• Own the Marketing and business analytics function and champion data-driven approaches within Lingokids.
• Lead a team of data scientists and analysts. Provide your team with guidance, purpose, leadership, and direction.
• Work closely with the marketing team to constantly improve acquisition, through budget setting, bid optimisation, and organic strategies.
• Give clear insight at the business level, helping manage competing views from our functional teams like marketing, product or content.
• Build our measurement framework - Define what we measure and how it’s reported
• Manage the process to dig into our trade and performance metrics, fixing problems and finding opportunities.
• Provide insight and recommendations for cross-business initiatives and strategic planning.
• Provide data support to optimise financial forecasting and translate financial objectives into actionable product/content/commercial targets.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as the leadership team and other parts of the data team, and ensure that the business analytics function has a good understanding of key commercial objectives.

Our ideal candidate profile

• Toolkit of analytical techniques (SQL, Python or R) to build insight and give recommendations - SQL is a must, and good knowledge of Looker is a plus.
• Understanding marketing in digital businesses (particularly subscription), with a history of optimisation, commercial analysis and reporting.
• Expert in analysing business problems and a master at sharply and concisely communicating advanced insights to the organization’s leaders and team, both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of financial modelling
• You enjoy leading others and can build and coach a high-performing team.
• You’re a bright, high-calibre candidate who enjoys working in a warm, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
