Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

As Senior Backend Engineer in our teams, you’ll shape the core of our product. You’ll own backend features end-to-end – from building and scaling integrations (Facebook, Google, Zapier) to fine-tuning performance and reliability with Node.js, MongoDB and Redis. Help users connect their funnels to CRMs, analytics tools and more – making their workflows seamless. Work autonomously, collaborate closely and ship features with real customer feedback, not guesswork.

What you'll be doing

Develop and improve features with a focus on security, performance and testing

Own core parts of the software and drive concepts from idea to execution

Collaborate across teams to solve real business challenges and build impactful solutions

Ensure service health through monitoring, logging, alerting, and infrastructure reliability

Continuously refine systems through documentation, scaling practices, and database optimization

Proactively engage in team rituals, advocate for improvements, and prioritize high-impact initiatives

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with solid Node.js and TypeScript skills

You’re deeply motivated to own, analyze, and improve critical backend systems in a SaaS environment

You’ve worked with MongoDB in production, understand queue systems, and are familiar with REST and other API standards

You bring strong problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for business-relevant bottlenecks

You manage cross-team projects effectively and deliver reliably under time constraints

You’re fluent in English and experienced in building and scaling APIs using best practices like SOLID, DRY, and KISS
