What you’ll do

‍As a DevSecOps Engineer within MetaMask & Infura you will be joining a world reference technical team with State of the Art expertise in developing & delivering advanced decentralized applications (Ðapps) and supporting development and production infrastructure. Your job will be to deliver, upgrade and maintain infrastructure with high cybersecurity standards (ISO/SOC2). You will be involved and drive in our code deployment (CI / CD) and setting-up, configuring and running development/test and staging/production infrastructure across multiple products and critical applications and multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure). With the objective to drive towards improving DORA metrics across our group.

This position requires a combination of technological skills, organizational skills, thinking strategically, security first mindset, pro-activity, problem solving & creativity, pedagogical methodology, team spirit and strong documentation practices. It involves collaborating with developers, SREs, Product Managers and other roles within the business group and also our Customer Success SRE and cross cutting infrastructure teams working on multiple types of problems & challenges, empowering development teams on a day to day while thinking strategically and planning for platform growth.

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE, Dev(Sec)Ops Engineer, Security Engineer or similar
• Familiarity in one or more of the following languages: Javascript/NodeJS/Typescript, GoLang, Python
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and/or Azure
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerization
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub, or CircleCI)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Your Role:

We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to own the intersection of security, reliability, and DevOps. This role will design and implement resiliency across our cloud platform and CI/CD pipelines, embed “security as code,” help lead incident response for high-severity outages, and partner with engineering teams to enable safe, fast delivery at scale.

You will be hands-on and strategic: automating remediation, hardening deployments, owning observability, and driving measurable reductions in security/infra related incident impact. This role reports to the CISO, with a dotted line into Engineering and works closely with DevOps, Product, and Engineering leadership.

The Security Team is 100% distributed and remote.

Things You Get To Do:

The core responsibilities of the DevSecOps Engineer role are focused on embedding security throughout our infrastructure and software development lifecycle, enhancing cyber resilience, and driving a strong security culture.

Security Engineering & Automation:

• Secure SDLC Integration: Embed security into CI/CD pipelines by implementing and owning secure controls, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scanning, Software Composition Analysis (SCA), secrets checks, policy-as-code, and deployment guardrails.
• Vulnerability Management: Lead the process of vulnerability and patch management, automating discovery, prioritization, and remediation across all cloud workloads and their dependencies.
• Platform Hardening: Strengthen cloud and Kubernetes environments through secure configurations, network segmentation, workload identity management, and automated compliance against industry standards (e.g., CSA Star).
• Supply Chain Security: Advance the security of the software supply chain, focusing on generating Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs), artifact signing, dependency governance, and implementing integrity controls.
• Secure Patterns: Create secure "paved roads" for developers, providing hardened IaC modules, templates, tooling, and comprehensive documentation.

Resilience, Detection, and Response:

• Cyber Resilience: Own and validate cyber-resiliency standards (secure failover, secure backups, Disaster Recovery playbooks) through secure rehearsals to ensure both the availability and integrity of systems and data
• Security Deployment: Develop secure deployment patterns, such as canary rollouts, automated safe rollbacks, and guardrails to minimize blast radius
• Detection & Forensics: Improve detection and response capabilities by building high-signal alerts, enhancing forensic logging, and providing robust security telemetry. Partner with the SecOps team on incident handling
• Offensive Security: Alongside the Security team, help manage offensive security engagements (penetration testing, red team, bug bounty) and ensure findings are fed directly into remediation pipelines and risk prioritization

Architecture, Identity, and Governance:

• Design & Threat Modeling: Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for all new services and major architecture changes to ensure designs are secure-by-default
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Strengthen the identity and access model by enforcing the principle of least privilege, strong authentication, and secure secrets lifecycle management
• Compliance & Audit: Support compliance and audit readiness by operationalizing security controls, producing necessary evidence, and maintaining the health of these controls

Leadership & Culture:

• Security Champion: Champion a strong security culture by partnering with DevOps and Engineering teams to uplift secure coding practices and guide risk-based decision-making
• Metrics & Reporting: Define key security performance indicators (KPIs) such as time to detect, time to remediate, exposure scores, and percentage of infrastructure covered by automated controls, and report measurable improvements to leadership

Who You Are (Must-Haves):

• Strong hands-on experience with CSPs, Kubernetes, Terraform, and container security

You will work close to the operating system and hypervisor, shaping how reliability and observability are embedded into the Compute platform.

• Ensure reliability, availability and performance of compute nodes running VMs
• Analyze and debug Linux systems across user space and kernel space, understanding capabilities, limitations and trade-offs at each layer
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving CPU, memory, NUMA, cgroups and scheduling
• Work hands-on with virtualization and containerization, primarily using QEMU/KVM and Linux-native technologies
• Design and evolve observability as a core capability of the node layer: metrics, logs, traces, alerts, SLIs and SLOs

This is an engineering-first SRE role: you’ll set clear reliability targets, build the tooling and automation to meet them, and make the network safer to operate as we scale quickly.

• Define and own reliability goals for network services and critical paths (SLIs/SLOs, availability targets, error budgets where it makes sense)
• Drive reliability improvements across the whole network: not only services, but also site readiness, inter-site connectivity (DCI), and operational standards
• Own incident response for your areas, lead investigations/postmortems, and turn failures into durable fixes (not repeated firefighting)

Your role at Hostinger

We’re looking for a System Engineer to help us solve real engineering challenges, keep our systems reliable, and build the foundation that powers millions of websites around the world.

You’ll work alongside other system, software, and network engineers - people who care deeply about performance, simplicity, and resilience. Together, you’ll design, run, and evolve systems that don’t just work, but stay fast and dependable under pressure.

This isn’t a role where you follow playbooks - you’ll write them. You’ll dig into the details, automate what slows us down, and share what you learn so the whole team gets stronger.

Your day-to-day

• Design, develop, and implement new features that make our hosting platform faster, more reliable, and easier to scale.
• Deploy and run infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation, because manual work doesn’t scale, and neither do shortcuts.
• Operate and observe systems through real metrics: availability, latency, performance, capacity, reliability - understanding the “why” behind every graph.
• Refine and tune systems to eliminate bottlenecks, simplify complexity, and improve reliability without adding overhead.
• Improve monitoring and alerting, aiming to catch symptoms before they turn into outages.
• Share knowledge with other engineers - guiding, reviewing, and helping raise the bar for how we build and maintain reliable systems.

Your skills and experience

• Strong Linux OS experience (3+ years).
• Ansible proficiency - you trust automation, and know how to do it right.
• Programming or scripting skills in Python or Go (bonus if both).
• Experience managing and optimizing web servers, databases, and caching systems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like GCP (or similar).
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals - DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP.
• Experience applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DevOps practices and open-source contributions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools beyond GitHub Actions.
• Ability to read and understand Go and PHP code.
• Certifications like RHCSA or RHCE.

Compensation
