Summary of the Role:

As Product Manager at Maze, you'll be building breakthrough AI-powered solutions for some of the most technically complex challenges in cybersecurity—working directly with engineering teams to tackle either automated remediation workflows or code vulnerability detection at cloud scale. This is a unique opportunity to join as one of the early team members of a well-funded startup, potentially as the sole PM driving product strategy across our agentic vulnerability management platform.

This role is unlike traditional PM positions. You won't be writing detailed PRDs or telling engineers what to build. Instead, you'll work collaboratively with our technical teams on solving problems together, leveraging their deep expertise while providing product direction and customer insight. Your success will be measured by ARR growth and POC conversion rates, not feature delivery timelines. This role is perfect for an engineer looking to transition into product, or a technical PM from a cloud/application security background who thrives on solving extremely technical problems and wants to build something extraordinary from the ground up.

Your Contributions to Our Journey:

• Work Collaboratively with Engineering: Partner with engineering teams on problem-solving rather than directing them—give them ownership and freedom to research solutions while you provide product direction, customer context, and strategic guidance
• Own a Technical Product Area: Drive either automated remediation (helping security engineers fix risks efficiently) or code vulnerability detection (linking code vulnerabilities to cloud infrastructure)—you'll have significant freedom to shape these areas from scratch
• Leverage Technical Teams: Use engineering expertise to understand complex technical concepts—CI/CD pipelines, cloud architectures, application security—rather than trying to figure everything out yourself
• Drive Customer-Centric Development: Spend time with customers conducting research, validating hypotheses, and translating security workflows into product requirements that solve real pain points
• Enable Zero-to-One Product Development: Take new capabilities from concept to launch, building from scratch while establishing product-market fit through customer validation
• Make Commercial Product Decisions: Balance technical possibilities with commercial reality, measuring success by ARR growth and POC conversion rates rather than feature completeness
• Support Go-to-Market Efforts: Create messaging and positioning for your product area, support sales teams with training materials, and help communicate technical capabilities to prospects

What You Need to Be Successful:

• Technical Background (Essential): Deep hands-on technical experience as an engineer—ideally a security engineer with cloud security or application security background. You must understand how code gets built, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architectures, and application security concepts. This is non-negotiable.
• Cloud or Application Security Domain: Specific experience with cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure security, infrastructure security) or application security (code analysis, SAST/DAST, vulnerability detection in applications)—not general cybersecurity or third-party risk management
• Product Experience (Flexible): We're open to various backgrounds: engineers looking to transition into product, early-career PMs from technical security companies, or those with limited PM experience but deep technical credentials. Years of PM experience at large companies is less important than technical depth and adaptability.
• Collaborative Mindset: Natural inclination to work WITH engineering teams rather than direct them—you see engineers as partners in problem-solving, not implementers of your requirements. You give autonomy and freedom while maintaining clear direction.
• Zero-to-One Builder: Comfort building in ambiguous environments where solutions aren't clear, with ability to create something from scratch and establish product-market fit through customer validation
• Fast Learner: Ability to get up to speed quickly on extremely technical concepts, leverage people around you for answers, and operate effectively in a startup environment where things move fast
• Commercial Thinking: Understanding that success is measured by ARR growth and POC conversion, with ability to make product decisions based on revenue impact and customer value
• Customer Engagement: Willingness to spend time with customers understanding their workflows, conducting research, and translating technical security challenges into product solutions

• Experience at early-stage technical security companies (Wiz, early Snyk, cloud security or app sec startups)

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer focused specifically on perpetuals trading to deliver designs in a remote environment. Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Lead Game Designer to own and elevate the game design craft at Pixaera. You’ll lead a small but growing team of designers while staying hands-on in Unreal Engine 5, turning real-world safety scenarios and learning objectives into engaging, effective gameplay.

You’ll sit at the intersection of game design, learning design, and product strategy — defining how our simulations feel, how they teach, and how they scale across industries and platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the game design discipline: Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to game designers. Set and uphold clear craft standards, and help shape Pixaera’s design rituals (reviews, playtests, documentation).
• Translate vision & learning goals into gameplay: Work with Product, Learning Design, and Subject Matter Experts to turn product vision and safety objectives into concrete systems, scenarios, and interactions that are fun, readable, and tied to clear outcomes.
• Design hands-on in Unreal Engine 5: Prototype and build experiences using Blueprints and Sequencer; own moment-to-moment gameplay, flow, and pacing for key experiences across PC, VR, and web.
• Shape UX, pacing, and narrative flow: Ensure that story, stakes, and learning moments align; help define onboarding, challenge curves, and feedback loops so players understand what to do, why it matters, and how they’re doing.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Partner with engineers, artists, and learning designers to ensure smooth pipelines, realistic scenarios, and performant builds. Contribute to improving our tools, workflows, and content creation processes.
• Design for learning impact: Align experiences to explicit learning objectives, assessments, and behavioral outcomes. Contribute to how we approach micro-learning, adaptive paths, and “in the flow of work” learning moments.
• Iterate using data and feedback: Join playtests, review player behaviour and product metrics, and use both qualitative and quantitative signals to refine clarity, engagement, and effectiveness.
• Own your planning and communication: Estimate and track your work and your team’s work (Jira/Confluence or similar), communicate trade-offs and risks early, and keep partners aligned on scope, priorities, and timelines.

Who are you?

• Senior/Lead-level game design experience, typically 6+ years, with ownership of major features or modes from concept through launch and iteration.
• Strong Unreal Engine experience (ideally UE5), including building and iterating interactive experiences using Blueprints and Sequencer.
• Deep understanding of core design principles: pacing, readability, feedback loops, onboarding, difficulty tuning, and player motivation.
• Demonstrated ability to guide or mentor other designers and contribute to craft standards, even if you haven’t formally held a “Lead” title before.
• Comfort working with Subject Matter Experts and translating complex real-world workflows (e.g., safety procedures, operations) into accessible interactive experiences.
• Interest or experience in learning / instructional design (serious games, simulations, training products) and a willingness to work closely with Learning Designers on objectives, scaffolding, and assessment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Art, and external partners.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, iterative environment, with good habits around documentation and tooling (e.g., Jira, Linear, Notion, Google suite tools).
• Bonus: experience with localisation workflows, VR builds, or AI-assisted authoring and content pipelines.

Your Role: Product Manager for Enterprise

Responsibilities

1. Own and Lead User Experience Design: Proactively analyze user insights, feedback, and data to deeply understand user needs and pain points. Redesign the app’s user experience and interface to deliver intuitive, effective, and technically feasible solutions that align with the brand, industry best practices, and business objectives without unnecessary complexity.
2. Evolve the Design System: Audit, refine, and expand the existing design system to ensure visual and functional consistency, scalability, and adaptability to future product iterations.
3. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders in a Scrum environment to define sprint goals, plan and review deliverables, and oversee releases. Translate business goals and product strategy into actionable, user-centered design processes, actively gathering and integrating feedback throughout.
4. Drive User Research and Testing: Independently plan, organize, and lead user research and testing initiatives, including usability studies, A/B tests, and prototyping. Clearly define test objectives aligned with user and business goals, and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
5. Design Data Visualizations: Create clear, meaningful data visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate complex information in an accessible and user-friendly way.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Establish and maintain design deliverables and documentation in a structure that complies with applicable regulatory and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven Experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on product design experience for consumer mobile applications, with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong portfolio demonstrating depth and breadth across projects, with clear examples of user-centered and business-aligned designs.
• Health & Wellness Expertise
• Demonstrated experience designing user-facing medical or wellness products, with sensitivity to the specific needs of healthcare contexts - such as privacy, clarity, and emotional nuance.
• Deep User and Business Insight
• Exceptional ability to understand and balance user needs and business objectives, translating them into designs that deliver value to both. Proactive in identifying opportunities that improve the user journey while advancing company goals.
• Creative and Pragmatic Problem-Solving
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, bringing fresh, innovative ideas while respecting technical constraints and regulatory requirements. Skilled at simplifying complex problems into clear, actionable design solutions.
• End-to-End User Journey Mapping
• Expertise in mapping and improving holistic user journeys, including online and offline touchpoints. Able to identify pain points and design seamless, engaging experiences throughout. Strong understanding of software architecture and how it impacts design decisions.
• Accessibility Expertise
• Thorough knowledge of accessibility principles and standards (e.g., WCAG) with practical experience designing inclusive, accessible interfaces for diverse user groups, including those with disabilities.
