The Role

We are looking for a Senior PPC Strategist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our client’s PPC goals and needs are met, in line with their marketing/sales account strategy. The Senior Paid Search Strategist will work within and manage a paid search team, delivering to a number of clients across the business, developing, implementing, delivering and optimising goal-driven innovative PPC strategies.

The right candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in a PPC/ Paid Advertising role and will be looking for the next step in their PPC journey.

The responsibilities

  • Gathering a thorough understanding of the client’s business, objectives, in turn identifying opportunities for growth through PPC
  • A first-class and hands-on understanding of managing PPC campaigns, including the use of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads (inclusive of Mobile App install campaigns), YouTube, Adroll, Criteo, Demandbase and others
  • Very good understanding of ad platform requirements, policies and regulations
  • Experienced with working on paid search accounts managing large budgets, but also small budgets with a Target Accounts approach for example
  • Collaborating with other members of the team on developing the marketing strategy across all funnel stages for our clients
  • Working with other areas of the team (SEO, Content) to understand and agree on campaign strategy and business goals
  • Own and deliver the PPC strategy across a number of clients
  • Monitoring performance regularly and ensuring positive ROI from all PPC activities through proper attribution reporting
  • The confidence to take the lead on new business pitches from a PPC perspective
  • Proactively identifying and removing barriers to success for the team and clients
  • Where you are involved, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships is highly important
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Working to resolve any client requests or issues; escalating as needed
  • Staying up-to-date with the trends and tools to help identify opportunities for the client
  • Having the ability to scope out the client’s requirements and goals and create proposals for renewals or new engagements between the client and Inbound FinTech.
  • Hire and nurture new great talent to grow the PPC team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years' PPC experience
  • A proven track record of running, cross-discipline, ROI-positive campaigns, ideally within an agency
  • Outstanding analytical skills and dashboard creation
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing concepts and SEO and Inbound
  • Experience with multiple platforms, e.g. AdWords, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube etc
  • In-depth understanding of Google Ads and GA, including from an audit perspective
  • Must be business savvy with consultative, problem solving, and issue-resolution skills
  • Experience using a wide variety of platforms on a daily basis (i.e. Marketing tools, CRM, automation, reporting)
  • Very organised, quick learner with a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with team members, clients and partners in person, via phone and email.
