The Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who not only excels in project management but also brings a deep technical understanding to the table. In this role, you will be an essential part of our Growth Team, leading and coordinating projects across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support. While this role is an 'army of one', you’ll collaborate across various departments—including Product, Engineering, and Legal—to ensure projects are delivered on time, technical challenges are resolved, and tools are used to their full potential.

At Physitrack Group, we live by our ‘Always Be Curious’ culture, which fosters continuous learning. Whether it's through books, podcasts, or inviting external experts, we encourage our team to stay curious and keep growing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Project Leadership: You’ll lead projects from initiation to completion, conducting kick-off meetings, keeping stakeholders informed, and ensuring deadlines are met. You’ll oversee our project management tool, ClickUp, to keep everyone aligned and to help build efficient processes.
  • Driving Technical Implementation:This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll define and manage the technical requirements for new tools within the Growth Team. You’ll ensure that any new tools integrate seamlessly with our current systems, and you’ll work closely with Legal, InfoSec, and Engineering to ensure smooth rollouts.
  • Promoting Internal  Collaboration: This is an internal role. You’ll act as a key bridge between the Growth, Product, and Engineering teams, helping align needs, understanding, and technical execution while managing resources efficiently.
  • Self-Starter: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work autonomously (solo-role) across functions, serving as the go-to person for all things technical project management within the Growth Team.

Operations

  • Tech Stack Oversight:You’ll help manage the non-engineering tools our Growth Team relies on, like CRM systems, analytics platforms, and sales tools. Regular audits will be part of your routine to ensure everything is running optimally, and you’ll provide insights to department leads on how to improve tool usage.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: You’ll work with department heads to manage vendor contracts, assess tool performance, and lead projects to determine whether we need to renew, retender, or develop new solutions.
  • Setting the Roadmap & KPIs: You’ll help define project timelines, establish KPIs, and ensure the Growth Team's activities align with the broader business goals.

Your First 12 Months at Physitrack Group:

First Three Months:

  • Get familiar with our tools, including ClickUp, ActiveCampaign, Gong, HelpScout, Ada, Zapier, Jira, and others.
  • Understand our project roadmaps, OKRs, and key business ambitions for both Physitrack and Champion Health. - Learn the ins and outs of our Legal and InfoSec processes.
  • Start building relationships with key stakeholders across the company. - Begin to organize and streamline our project management processes, while leading some planning and project calls.

First Six Months:

  • Implement effective project management guidelines and processes. - Define clear roles and responsibilities for project management across teams.
  • Ensure all ongoing projects are tracked and reported effectively using ClickUp.
  • Build a strong understanding of all projects, and develop a clear roadmap for upcoming work.
  • Provide necessary project management training across departments.

First 12 Months

  • Fully integrate into the team, becoming the go-to person for all technical project management within the Growth Team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technical implementations, streamline processes, and add value across projects.
  • Work closely with leadership to support the creation of a dedicated Growth Operations department, aligning strategy and execution across the group.

Desired Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: You’ll need strong technical skills and experience with growth tools. While we don’t expect candidates to have mastered every tool, familiarity with programming languages (like SQL or Python) is a big plus. You should be able to dive into the technical details of our systems to write requirements, understand project needs, and offer informed recommendations.
  • Digital Tools Mastery: Proficiency with a wide range of digital tools is essential, particularly ClickUp, our project management tool. Familiarity with our broader tech stack—including ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Google Analytics, Jira, and others—will also help you succeed.
  • Project Management Experience: You should have experience leading projects in a fast-paced environment, particularly in a startup or scale-up context, where managing technical requirements and timelines is second nature.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You’ll need to communicate complex technical details in a way that’s clear and understandable to non-technical team members across the globe. -
  • Emotional Intelligence & Problem-Solving: You’ll need to navigate different internal perspectives, identify trade-offs, and resolve challenges with a critical, empathetic and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in technical roles
  • Experience in a Growth Operations role
  • Strong familiarity with ClickUp as a project management tool
