What You’ll Be Doing:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evolve Camunda’s modeling tools for BPMN and DMN (https://bpmn.io) together with an experienced team.
• Ensure that the libraries we create are fit for purpose for both internal and external uses.
• Work with the community and internals to make our tools even more powerful, extensible, and easier to use.

*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere where we are eligible to hire, please find a list of available countries here. Most of the team is in CE(S)T timezone and an overlap of +/- 1 hour is necessary for a close collaboration

What You’ll Bring:

• At least one year of experience in software development, including code writing, reviewing, testing, and refactoring.
• Understanding of web development and proficiency in programming with JavaScript.
• An interest in user-centered design and the web platform. We build modeling tools people love, embeddable everywhere, by everyone.
• A pragmatic approach to get things done.
• The ability to take others along (i.e. active participation in decisions and knowledge sharing).
• You take ownership of your code base and drive future improvements.You have a “you build it, you run it” mindset.

Nice to haves:

• Interest in library and open source development.
• Experience with working with GitHub, CI/CD systems.
• Interest in B2B / “process orchestration” as a domain

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

• United States: $105,600.00 to $158,400.00
  
• Germany: €70,300.00 to €105,400.00
• United Kingdom: £68,500.00 to £102,700.00
• Singapore: S$131,200.00 to S$196,800.00

If you are outside one of these countries, you would be employed by our Preferred Employer Organization (PEO), Remote.
