Lead Unity Developer

ZeptoLab is looking for a Lead Unity Developer to join our team!

We make mobile games and operate them all over the world and we need a skilled developer to join us. We are a passionate bunch of people, from all over the world, and we love what we do.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for developing innovative mobile games and also participating in the prototyping of new creative ideas. As your first challenge, you will lead a new unannounced project from an early stage: making sure of the technical quality, timely deliveries, and mentoring a small team of developers. This role is 50% coding and 50% leadership.

This role is remote with working hours in the CET zone, on the IC contract.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead development of a new project from an early stage;
• Lead and mentor a small team of developers on the project;
• Make sure of the high technical quality of the project and timely delivery of the team;
• Drive healthy and open communication in the project team;
• Participate in company Game Jams and internal knowledge sharing;
• Make sure our code meets the high standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Unity and C#;
• Professional experience developing mobile games;
• Understanding of performance and profiling;
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms complexity;
• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills;
• Excellent time management skills;
• Collaborative mindset and great communication skills in English.

  • Native speaker in English
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional groups and executive leadership

Milestones

1-3 months

• Understand Sherpany vulnerability management and penetration testing services;
• Understand Sherpany security issue triaging process;
• Understand Sherpany as a product and technology, the Product Team organization, how we work inside and with other departments;

• Develop a catalogue to track ongoing projects requiring threat modelling within the company;
• Develop a roadmap to coordinate the execution of reactive threat modelling activities;
• Own vulnerability and pentest management sections of the weekly security meeting;

6+ months

• Develop a 2026 roadmap for the improvement of security engineering services (covering vulnerability management, penetration testing and threat modelling);
• Design and implement Sherpany’s new and evolved threat modelling process;
