About the job

We are looking for a tech-savvy professional with a passion for both system administration and DevOps practices. As a Low-Code Engineer, you will be at the crossroads of traditional IT administration and modern DevOps, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our technology infrastructure and operations.

This role requires a dynamic individual with a unique blend of technical prowess and operational finesse. You will serve as the bridge between traditional IT administration and DevOps practices, ensuring the seamless operation of our server environments while optimizing user management and access through automation. Your proactive approach to system maintenance and deployment will set the foundation for a robust and efficient IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Provisioning access and setting permissions for employees.
  • Making recommendations for technology upgrades and improvements.
  • Evaluating and managing relationships with technology vendors, including hardware and software providers.
  • Negotiating contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Developing and managing the IT operations budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring that our staff receive timely and effective support for IT-related issues.
  • Managing a helpdesk or support team.
  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Keeping senior management informed about IT operations and issues.
  • Monitoring the performance of IT systems and proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues.
  • Providing regular reports and metrics on IT performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR and HIPAA).

Qualifications

  • Git / Bash scripts.
  • Docker / Virtualization tools.
  • Networking.
  • Linux (basic knowledge).
  • JIRA administration or similar tools.
  • Google Workspace or similar tools.
  • Slack or similar tools.

Location

Able operates within the CET (Central European Time) time zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.

Interview Process
