UI/UX Designer

We are a fast-growing AI startup that helps apps and websites speak multiple languages through our AI lcoalization platform and services. Our clients include Shopify, Tumblr, BMW, UEFA, Change.org, and others.

We’re looking for a passionate UX/UI Designer to help improve and extend our platform. You’ll create a beautiful and intuitive experience that make it easy for our customers to reach new markets globally in less time. You should be an excellent communicator, a self-starter, a design lead, and be comfortable working closely with engineers, marketers, designers, and product managers.

Job Description

• Produce cohesive visual designs and manage the experience of multiple products working from high level concepts to small interaction details.
• Collaborate on user flows, IA, and prototypes.
• Promote design guidelines and best practices.
• Lead design critiques by giving/receiving constructive criticism.
• Work closely with various teams e.g Engineers, Product Managers, Vendors to help define business and product/ service requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years equivalent, relevant work experience.
• Strong grasp of design techniques, tools, and thinking.
• Strong grasp of software development flow and best practices.
• Able to lead a design team with strong design principles.
• Proficiency in Sketch, Invision, and other modern design tools.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain design choices to other teams.
• Experience with design research.
• Decent grasp of HTML/CSS/JS preferred.
• A fabulous work ethic and attitude.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have portfolio to demonstrate high-level concepts to final specifications.
