🎯 Your main goal will be to support community-driven development by triaging GitHub issues, fixing bugs, and reviewing community pull requests and nodes.

Your first task will be to help us with a specific, special, and long-overdue project: a complete platform redesign. • Your initial task will be to transition our core flows into Figma, using advanced functionalities like components and design tokens to ensure our design system's scalability, efficiency, and reusability. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be taking ownership of one or more domains of our product and will work closely with other Backend and Frontend engineers using cutting-edge open source frameworks to develop highly-available RESTful services and back-end systems.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you’re at the heart of what drives us — our customers. You’ll have a considerable impact on the company in a number of ways. You’ll help customers learn the best way to use Help Scout for their team. You’ll be a voice for the customer, ensuring the company is learning from customer experiences with the product (both good and bad!). And as a member of the Customers Team, you’ll help our team develop and refine systems to make sure we’re always improving.

About the role

The entire team works out of the main queue, so you’ll spend much of your day helping potential and current customers via email. While email support will be the majority of your day, everyone on the team helps out in Beacon chat, and you’ll also hop on impromptu calls with customers when needed.

• 15:00-16:00 The design session triggered some thoughts about other areas of the system that will be affected. You’re doing a quick dive in the affected areas of the code and find some technical debt that might affect the system’s scalability or reliability. You create a brief Jira ticket and tag the Product Manager to help get it prioritised and to ensure it is not forgotten. We are now looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join one of our partner-facing teams. This role is about delivering end-to-end features that directly impact players in our partners’ brands. You will work across both backend and frontend, helping us move fast and adapt our platform to the specific needs of our partners’ markets.

Our Technology Stack

Our technology stack includes over 30 microservices written in Go and Elixir, providing a highly efficient and scalable foundation for our operations. We leverage Apache Pulsar for event-driven messaging, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Google Cloud Platform for cloud infrastructure, and PostgreSQL for data storage.

Our release process is fully automated, enabling our small engineering team to perform several deployments per day without breaking a sweat. About The Role

In this role, you will be part of a small, cross-functional team building features end-to-end, from backend services to the user-facing interface. Unlike our platform team, which focuses on the core platform itself – such as shared services, foundational APIs, and infrastructure – we are responsible for day-to-day operations and innovation of our partners.

While we do not own the platform code, we frequently work with it and can contribute to it whenever needed. The expectation is that we only involve the platform team when an issue truly requires their support, which makes it important for us to navigate the wider codebase confidently and build a strong understanding of the platform. Many of the new features we develop are built end-to-end and may later be integrated into the core platform if they prove valuable for other clients.

• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontends using Svelte and SvelteKit.
